Retired OHP Lieutenant Charlie Hanger was honored by the placement of a sign at mile marker 202 on I-35 northbound to recognize his arrest of Timothy McVeigh, the suspect convicted of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

Lt. Hanger pulled over McVeigh after noticing that his vehicle did not have a registration tag. He noticed McVeigh was acting suspiciously and ultimately jailed him on a carrying a concealed weapon charge before anyone even knew he was a suspect in the bombing.
