EDMOND – The Missing in Oklahoma (MiOK) day will be held on Saturday, April 26, at the University of Central Oklahoma Forensic Science Institute.
Families of missing persons are encouraged to attend.
Families may arrive between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The event is free and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Families will be able to report a loved one missing, provide additional investigative leads, enter the missing person into NamUs, and provide family reference sample DNA for entry into the FBI DNA CODIS system.
Families may bring photographs, dental, medical records, and any other pertinent information to help locate their missing person.
There will be speakers to educate you about missing person issues.
Families will also have the opportunity to network with other families of missing persons.
The University of Central Oklahoma Forensic Science Institute is located at 701 E. 2nd Street in Edmond, Edmond, Oklahoma.
