Muskogee County Sheriff’s deputies are still investigating the circumstances of a body that was found in a creek in Muskogee County.

According to authorities, deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of S. 74th St. West to investigate a possible body found in the creek. Upon arrival deputies found the body partially submerged in water.

The State Medical Examiner’s office has been called in to determine the cause of death and the identity of the individual.
