The mat cats competed in the 49th OKWA state championships and took 11 wrestlers. These wrestlers compete against other competitors all across the state regardless of class size. The mat cats had 5 state place winners 15U heavyweight Gabe Scarborough won the championship 15U Tylee Johnson placed 4th at 138 12U Owen Oleson placed 4th at 105 12 U Jax Honor Reeves placed 7th at 140 10U Derrick Flud placed 8th at 85 pounds The matcats had six others fall just short of placing Weston Johnson, Korbyn Johnson, Reiyen Stallings, Brandy Johnson, Bray Johnson, and Boede Johnson
