The 17thAnnual Chili Cook-Off is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Checotah Community Center and cookers are needed to make this another great year. The entry fee is only $25 for the chance to win these fantastic prizes:
• 1st place – $500
• 2nd place – $250
• 3rd place – $100
• People’s Choice $150
• Best Table Décor 1st place – $100
• Best Table Décor 2nd place – $50
Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the Gun Raffle that will be held during the cook-off. This year Checotah Gun & Pawn have donated a Radical Firearms AR-15 5.56 Caliber. Tickets are only $1 a ticket or $5 for six tickets. They can be purchased at Checotah Gun & Pawn, Checotah Chamber of Commerce and Checotah Perk before the Chili Cook-Off. They can also be purchased at the door when you come get some of the best chili in McIntosh County.
Browse through all the items that will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Bring your check book and help benefit the Heartland Heritage Museum & Gallery.
There will also be chances at two door prizes:
• A two-night stay at Janssen Park B&B for only adults
