McIntosh County GOP
By LYNELLE MEDLEY CHAIRMAN

McIntosh GOP is excited to announce that the Freedom Brigades Rally at the Capitol was a great experience, and we learned a lot which we will all be bringing back to our own home counties.

We’ll update with stats as well as additional results from conducting the rally next week, but we were very honored to have participated alongside our Freedom Brigades brothers and sisters in the fight against the wind turbine companies across Oklahoma.

For additional info and ongoing updates please find our “Freedom Brigades No Wind Turbines McIntosh & Pittsburg Counties Oklahoma” group on Facebook.

In other news, at our last McIntosh GOP County Committee meeting, we unanimously passed a critical resolution to prohibit the expansion of Oklahoma K-12 School-Based Healthcare services and Oklahoma K-12 School Based Health Centers and Clinics.

There is a lot to this resolution as well as many reasons why we believe this cause is important, but if you would like to see the official record of this resolution, please text us at 918-617-6124 and we will be happy to furnish you with more info.

Also, they have a rally scheduled on February 7 — you can find these details on the McIntosh County GOP Facebook group. We will be working on getting a speaker on this topic very soon as well, please stay tuned!

There is one more effort that the McIntosh County GOP has been supporting and that is to petition to convene a Grand Jury in Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Grady counties to investigate allegations of abuse by Oklahoma DHS.

All signers must be registered voters in that respective county, but you can call 580-6561725 for information on where to sign or if you are interested in starting your own petition drive in your county.

Whew, 2025 is starting out strong and bold, just like our new incoming presidential administration. Our next meeting will be on January 23 at the VFW at 6:30 p.m. – please note we have changed our meetings to the fourth Thursday each month.

I cannot announce our speaker yet because I have not received confirmation but if it’s who I hope, you won’t want to miss it! We also have precinct meetings and our county convention coming up soon so be watchful for that info on our FB page.

Thank you to all the McIntosh County residents who have supported us these past few years, we are grateful to you and look forward to many more years together.
