Applications for absentee ballots expire at the end of every calendar year. If you received absentee ballots by mail in 2024 and would like to continue receiving ballots by mail, you will need to complete a new absentee ballot application for 2025.
Applications are available for download on the State Election Board website oklahoma. gov/elections or at the County Election Board. Voters can also request absentee ballots electronically using the OK Voter Portal at oklahoma. gov/elections/ ovp.
Voters can request to receive absentee ballots for a single election or for all elections in which they are eligible to vote for the calendar year. Voters who are in nursing homes, voters who are physically incapacitated and voters who care for persons who cannot be left unattended should be sure to check the appropriate boxes on their absentee ballot application. This information activates special procedures that make voting and returning absentee ballots easier.
A 2025 election schedule is also available at oklahoma.gov/ elections or on the social media Facebook page of McIntosh County Election Board.
