Heartland Bazaar was a great success, we had a lot of fun meeting all the kids and telling people about what we have going on. Caleb Shipman, the winner of our AR Giveaway, was very happy when we called him to let him know he was our winner. We also had a fun turnout at our Christmas party on Dec 12 with about 35 people in attendance — we will be posting pics on our FB page soon.
The Freedom Brigades will be having a huge rally at the capitol on January 7 from 9:30 a.m. to noon and we have a number of speakers beginning at 10 a.m., including Rep. Neil Hays, Rep. Jim Shaw, Sen. Warren Hamilton, Rep. Gabe Woolley, and several others. The rally goers will be calling on Governor Stitt to issue an executive order on all “green” energy until such a time as the legislators can react with legislation on behalf of their constituents and/or until we can do an appropriate level of research to determine their safety, or lack thereof. They are looking into utilizing buses to transport people to/from the rally — if you are interested in riding or have a bus that you would be willing to drive for them to the Capitol on Jan 7, please text to 918-617-6124.
The Environmental Impact Study project that was kicked off by the local Freedom Brigades and facilitated by Mr. Derek Liles is coming together very nicely. McIntosh County should be very proud of these citizens as they do their part in this battle against these foreign owned companies. It has been an honor to work alongside each and every one of them – they are heroes for the hours they have put forth to help McIntosh County residents fight these wind turbines.
Last but not least, our next meeting will be on Jan 23 at the VFW at 6:30 p.m.. Until then we pray you each have a very Merry Christmas and that you and your loved ones make tons of wonderful holiday memories. See you next year!
