MUSKOGEE – Jerry Brandon Pearce, 55, of Indianola, has entered a guilty plea to one count of possessing an unregistered explosive device, The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced.
The Indictment alleged that on Sept. 5, 2023, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Pearce knowingly possessed a destructive device not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, as required
The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report. Pearce was remanded into the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
