Chamber Christmas Lighting Competition coming

The Checotah Chamber of Commerce will host a friendly, residential and business Christmas lighting competition this year.

The Chamber will give away $600 to three lucky residents and one lucky business.

Residential winners will win $500 with 1st place taking home $250, 2nd place taking home $150 and 3rd place taking home $100.

One business will also win $100 for 1st place only.

Applications must be filled out and can be found online at Checotah. com or picked up at the Chamber office. Sign up ends Dec. 13 at noon. Entrants must live in city limits.

Judging will be Dec. 17 and the winner will be announced Dec. 18.
