CHECOTAH – Joyce Darlene (Stephens) Parker, 77, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. A graveside service was held Thursday, November 14 at Greenwood Cemetery.

EUFAULA – Scott Allen Welch, 55, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Tulsa. A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 16 at Eufaula First Freewill Baptist Church.

CHECOTAH – The “tire whisperer” Walter Dewayne Allen, 64, went to be with our Lord and Savior, on Friday, November 8, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Memorial Services for Dewayne will be held at 1p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Shady Grove Full Gospel Church.

MCALESTER – Edith Sarah Byrd, 88, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at her home in McAlester, OK. A memorial service was held Friday, Nov.15 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula.
