Local Flavors coming to the county Nov. 12

Local Flavor, an annual event that gives folks the chance to sample some of the area’s finest cuisines, will be at the Eufaula VFW on Nov. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Admission is $25 for one, $40 for two.

Tickets are available at several locations, including at the door of the event; a Under One Roof, 107 McKinley; from Under One Roof board members or from the Eufaula Chamber of Commerce.

Participating restaurants will provide their signature dishes, giving diners the opportunity to explore and enjoy their culinary offerings.

In addition to the delicious food, the event will feature a silent auction, a live auction and plenty of great prizes to win, making it a wonderful evening to spend with friends while kicking off the holiday season.

“We have received many generous donations for our auction items from local businesses,” said Kim Woodruff, Executive Director of Under One Roof.

This event is the largest annual fundraiser of the year for Under One Roof.

“Your support for Local Flavor allows us to provide valuable services to individuals with complex needs at our Center, all in one convenient location,” Woodruff said.

She says it’s one of the highlights of the year.

“You can enjoy a fantastic evening, satisfy your appetite, and make a positive impact—what more could anyone want?” she said.

Generous sponsors make the evening possible, “allowing us to showcase their restaurants that they put their hearts and souls into every day.”

The support helps 16 family-serving organizations simultaneously by creating a space for them to operate Under One Roof.
