Eufaula senior Maddox Bridges received his first college football offer from Hendrix College. Bridges was a standout receiver and defensive back for the Eufaula Ironheads. The three sport (Track, Football and Basketball) athlete has huge potential and the skill set to play at the next level.
“I feel thankful to have received an offer for a school with a great program like Hendrix. I know I would not have got such recognition without having great coaches who put me in positions to succeed. I thank Coach Luna, Coach Campbell, and most importantly Coach Newton,” Eufaula senior Maddox Bridges said.
Hendrix College is a Division III school located in Conway, Arkansas. The Warriors finished with a 3-7 record and 3-5 in conference play. Offensive coordinator Russ Phillips is high on Bridges and what he can bring to the team.
“I’m super proud of Maddox, such a talented young man who has worked extremely hard to put himself in a position to start receiving offers to continue his athletic career,” Eufaula offensive coordinator Josh Luna said.
