The Mvskoke Program was contacted by the Jim Lucas Checotah Public Library to create an educational Mvskoke display for the glass case located inside their building.

Staff members Michael Cook (Graphic Designer), Elizabeth Rowland-Chang (Project Manager), and Jordan Squire (Project Media/Coordinator) worked together to create several new resources to include in the case.

The items included were an Alphabet Banner, the History of the Mvskoke Alphabet, the Creation Story, the QR code to all our Mvskoke Language resources, and the Five Traits of the Mvskoke Way.

A collection of Mvskoke Cultural items was also included in the case. They included: A Ribbon Skirt, Moccasins, Corn Husk Doll, and a finger-weaved Hat Band created by Elizabeth Rowland-Chang.
