DEATH NOTICES

OKLAHOMA CITY – Darrell Gene Cook, 57, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 11 in Serenity Chapel of Garrett Family Funeral Home, Checotah.

EUFAULA – Stephen “Steve” Lynk Barner, 64, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Cassville, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m. at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula.

CHECOTAH – Roger Keith Bryant, 64, spread his angel wings and went to be with his Lord and Savior June 4, 2024, peacefully at home with his wife, Sherry and his best friend, Carl King at his bedside. Services were held June 8 at Faith Church in Checotah, OK.

LENNA – Sally Geneva Brown, 86, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024. A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 11 at Kelley Memorial Chapel in Eufaula.

EUFAULA – Nora Sue Hammett, 78, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 in Oklahoma City. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 13 at 10 a.m. at Eufaula Church of Christ.
