The Class 3 A No.15 ranked Eufaula Lady Ironheads flexed their muscle on Tuesday as they dominated Henryetta 60-29. It was a game that Eufaula head coach Nick Yarbrough could play his entire team. Kambry Williams was spot on with her perimeter shooting as she finished with 18 points. Eufaula was in control of the entire game.
They led 35-17 at halftime and out scored Henryetta 2110 in the first period.
Defensively Eufaula simply outplayed the Lady Knights as they forced numerous turnovers and scored. Eufaula had 11 players score in the game. Allie Anderson finished with 10 points, Jadence Efurd nine points and McKinzie had six points in the game.
On Friday night the Lady Ironheads (10-6) rallied from behind to defeat the Beggs Lady Golden Demons 48-43. It was a battle from the start with Eufaula getting the upper hand ending the first period 16-11. Eufaula was led by Jadence Efurd (13) and Kate Pippenger (12) who combined for 25 points. Beggs would come out the second half and put pressure on the Lady Ironheads, outscoring them 15-8 to make the score 36-32 in their favor. But after a fiery speech from Eufaula coach Nick Yarbrough, theLadyIronheads began chipping away at the lead with great ball movement and planned shots to outscore Beggs 16-7 to earn the victory. Johna Bumgarner had eight points and Allie Anderson and Kambry Williams each had six points in the game.36-32 in their favor.
