Connor Bryan Teague

Connor Bryan Teague, 22, passed away on Nov. 9, 2023, in his hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. He was born on July 27, 2001, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to his loving parents Willie Bryan and Trina (Whisenhunt) Teague and his love sister, Bailey.

He loved creating art, listening to music, reading, playing video games with his cousin Cadeyn, spending time outdoors and hanging out with his family, especially his best friend and favorite person which was his sister. He had a big heart and was very kind. He was a deep thinker and very knowledgeable about many things. He was quick-witted and got a lot of joy out of poking fun at those he loved most.

He graduated from Checotah High School in 2019 and received his associates degree from Connors State College.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Teague Jr.; grandparents, Ernie and Emma Whisenhunt; and cousin, Hunter Teague.

His is survived by his parents; sister, Bailey and husband Stacy Durrett Jr.; grandmother, Peggy Teague; uncle, Robert Teague and wife Kelley; uncle, Joey Teague; aunts, Kelly Teague, Tanna Nelson and Karen Mc-Iver; cousins, Cadeyn Teague, Sawyer Teague, Amber Ledbetter and Felicia Sanders; numerous family members and a host of friends that are considered family.

A private Celebration of Connor’s Life was held Nov. 16, 2023 for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an account at People’s National Bank in Connor’s memory to assist teens, young adults and families in crisis.

Condolences to the family may be made online at www.hunnfuneralhome. com. Arrangements were under the direction of Hunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
