A 55-year-old Ft. Smith, Ark., woman died a_er suffering chest pains while boating on Lake Eufaula Saturday, June 3, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Sonya McCrea was a passenger in a 2014 Godfrey Tritoon boat that was trolling the water checking jugs near #9 south camping grounds approximately eight miles east and four miles north of Canadian in Pittsburg County.
OHP report said that at about 5 p.m. McCrea complained of chest pains and then collapsed.
driver of the vessel was identied as Ryan David Williams, 37, of Ft. Smith.
Williams pulled to the shore at #9 south camping area while several passengers on the vessel attempted CPR.
In addition to McCrea, there were three adult passengers and three juveniles.
